saturday was a flurry of activity
car to the shop for repairs
laundry, laundry, laundry
emptying out the fridge
packing
making hard decisions of the
which stuffed animal should i bring variety
because we’re off, driving through the swamps
headed to texas to visit my grandparents
introduce them to this sweet babe
tell stories, laugh, and love
how was your weekend?
ps: i’ll see you back here in a few days

Have a great – and safe – trip!
Sounds like a busy but good weekend. Enjoy your visit to Texas.
Hope you’ll have a great visit!

It sounds like a wonderful trip…so lucky to have grandparents…enjoy your time with them.
Your weekend sounds busy but really fruitful. I’m glad you still had time to tell stories, laugh and love…the most important jobs of all…
Ours was fruitful too and included lots of the latter…
Enjoy your trip and introducing your little baby.
Take care,
Deb

Have a fun trip! Here is our weekend: http://mamagonegreen.blogspot.com/2012/05/weekending-saturday-farmers-market-and.html
oh, the drive through that eastern part of texas–rolling hills, wildflowers, green. I used to drive that in college with the sun coming up, playin REM’s Green album. Ahhh.
We went to a pop-up restaurant for dinner on Friday night, had dinner with friends Sturday night, I spent a delicious amount of time in my pyjamas and smoked some cheese.
And it’s finally warming up a bit in London, so it was a weekend without any rain.
